November 2025

Several improvements have been made to KYP Project. Below you can read what’s new and which issues have been resolved.

New features

New interface elements
New components such as the date picker and dropdown menus have been added. These updated elements now also display week numbers and form the foundation for future interface improvements in KYP Project.

Improvements

Then–Now comparison
The Then–Now feature now requires you to click “Compare schedules” before the comparison starts. This reduces unnecessary data loading and improves overall performance.

Increased capacity for Then–Now
The Then–Now feature has been given more processing power, which significantly reduces the number of 500 errors when handling large data volumes. Large projects can now be compared more efficiently without running into errors.

BIM Library update
The integration with BIM.works has been improved. Models now load faster and more reliably, and future updates from BIM.works will automatically be supported in both KYP Plan and KYP Project. For you as a user, nothing changes in your workflow, you can continue to use your BIM models just as before.

Extended support tools
The support team can now assist users even more efficiently with activation or login issues. This allows accounts to be restored faster, with fewer manual steps required from the user.

Bug fixes

Finally, several smaller issues have been fixed, including:

  • Contract printouts are now displayed correctly across multiple pages, and the reference line is shown accurately.
  • The project overview in “My Company” is now visible again for all users with the member or co-owner role.
  • Previously, users with view-only rights could still be assigned as the person responsible for a task through a workaround. This caused problems with functions that are only intended for responsible users, such as ticking off tasks. This has now been resolved.

Good to know

This update is part of our ongoing improvements to KYP Project. We continue to work on providing more clarity, speed, and ease of use.
